Landry Wyatt, today as of 7:29 pm, you are 2 years old!
I cannot believe 2 years have passed since this picture was taken.
Grammy always told me that (in regards to emotions & protection instincts) that someday when I had kids, then I'd understand.
The day you entered this world, I finally believed her! A mother really would do anything to protect her child.
You instantly changed mine and your daddy's life. It was like a light had entered our world that have never been on before. It amazed me how much you could love something as small as you were. I was and am still are so mesmerized by you.
This was at your 1st birthday party. I can't believe its been a year since then!
You have the sweetest smile that melts my heart... on a daily basis.
Your laugh is infectious. And you are so funny! You truly have a great personality.
I know every parent feels the same of their own child, but honest to goodness, you are the most precious child ever.
Sometimes, you wear me down til I'm exhausted, but then you do something funny or sweet, and all of a sudden, everything's okay again.
You are the biggest helper. Majority of the time, you are willing to help do pretty much anything.
You LOVE your daddy. How you know things I have no idea. Anytime you see a firetruck of any kind, be it in a book, on tv, or driving down the road, you say "daddy. daddy drive!"
As soon as you hear the garage door go up in the evening, you scream and run to the door waiting for him to come in. You love wrestling, working, and just being with him in general.
However, you are still a momma's boy. You still need my love if you get upset or your feelings hurt!
I love your kisses. They are the sweetest thing.
99% of the time, your are a happy little guy. If you are if a bad mood or throwing a fit, you usually get over it pretty fast.
You LOVE your sissy. You are the best big brother to her.
You take such good care of Ansley, you love to make her smile and kiss her constantly.
Your favorite place it outside. You don't care what you do, as long as you're outside doing it!
You love going to "school," and get so excited when Ansley and I pick you up in the afternoons, talking and trying to tell us about your day.
You also love going to Grammy's house during the day. You are such a big helper to her by taking care of the girls(dogs) while you're there.
You've recently started playing dress up and I could not love it more! You're just precious in the outfits you come up with!
You turn me into mush.
You had a birthday party at school. Even better, it was Pajama Day!! Everyone had a great time eating cookies and kool-aid!
You and Nola
Sitting at your table with some of your friends
This is Cohen, y'all are buddies
When you were born, my life changed. It no longer was about me anymore. You are my life sweet boy and we are so blessed by you. How we are so lucky to have been given you, I do not know, but I thank God for it everyday.
I love watching you with your sister. You're like your Uncle Terry, he took great care of me when I was a baby, and you do the same with Ansley. You are so proud of her it amazes me. When I found out I was pregnant with her, I was so sad to think that you weren't going to be my baby anymore. But you have proven to me that God knew what he was doing!
I know that even though you are a "big guy", you will ALWAYS be my baby. Always.
I pray that God watches over you sweet boy, and that you grow up knowing how loved and cherished you are.
Thank you Landry for all you have brought to our lives. I do not know what we did before we were blessed by you and I don't know what we did to deserve you; all I know is that we are so very lucky to be your parents. You light up my life little guy and I hope you never get too big for momma's kisses and love. Thank you for all you have taught me the past 2 years. I hope you have the best birthday ever!
May the next year be even greater than the last!
We love you so much!
All our love sweet boy,
