Fun in the Sun!

We had perfect weather yesterday!  Mid 70's and hardly any wind at all!  Which means we spent the entire afternoon and evening outside!
Luckily, Landry LOVES to be outside!  And him and his daddy played hard!
He did take a small break to watch daddy get the steaks ready!
And... it was this pretty girl's birthday!!
Isn't she precious!
Daddy made steaks and potatoes for her birthday (yes, she got plenty!)

Chris had his toe worked on yesterday so I didn't think he'd be up for a walk, but after I mentioned it, he was on board! (As long as he didn't have to wear tennis shoes!)

So what's a man to do? Get his shades of course!
Luckily daddy's toe was still kinda numb so he even ran! And Landry thought that was hilarious!
The boys chose to walk the last part
Then as we were coming back in the garage, he decided he was tired and thirsty and crawled back in the stroller!  Such a goofball!
How was y'alls day?
It's supposed to be really warm here today (like mid to upper 80's!) with some wind before the next few days get nasty windy...again.  So hopefully we'll get more pictures!

(Speaking of, I'd like to give a shout out to Big Daddy who bought my camera for my birthday in August last year.  In 7 months I have taken 3,651 pictures.  He always gives me a hard time that since I don't really like it we should get rid of it... yeah right.  Thanks again Big Daddy for my camera and all of my lenses, I love it even more today than I did when I got it!)

It's A.........

We our "big" ultrasound today!  We had a little party in the room too!  We (Chris and I) invited my parents to come with us (neither one had ever seen one done) so of course Landry was there and my friend Em came also!  All of the measurements were perfect, heart, brain, kidney's etc. all looked good and right on track!  I drank a glass of orange juice before we went hoping that it would move around good for us, but instead stayed asleep almost the whole time!  How's that for timing?!

This is the 4d of the profile

Oh, and in case you wanted to know... SHE'S A GIRL!!!!!
She now weighs 10 oz. which is double what she was a month ago!
She was being modest too! She kept sitting on her little feet and crossing them underneath her bottom!

What a sweet little angel we have been blessed with!
We pray that all continues to go well with our little blessing and that she brings us as much joy as her big brother does!

Wishlist Surprise #2!!

On Monday, I received my 2nd wishlist surprise!  It's the fish eye lense!

And look who surprised me with again?
These two handsome guys!
The weather's been kinda wishy-washy lately, so finally Tuesday afternoon I took Landry outside to play and take pictures!  You can make the circle around the picture come in closer or make it barely there.  Majority of the ones I took were in a full circle, just so I could see what it could do!
Do you notice that he always runs away from the camera?  I always tell him, "Landry, if you'll just look at me and let me take one good picture, I'll put the camera up..."  I think he laughs at me in his head!
This one is funny... the fish eye lense attaches to your other lense that attaches to the actual camera (did you get all that?)  So the lenses stick out quite far.  I just love this one though because he knows he's not allowed to touch my camera and he finally grabbed the lense because I wasn't realizing how close I was to him!
Oh my gracious.  Do you not just want to gobble him up?
When he decided to ride his 4-wheeler, I just knew I'd get him to look at me.  Wrong, again.
I took this one before he pressed the gas and I took another as he did press the gas.... that's right, he ran into the lense.  (don't worry, I know once again I'm up for mom of the year... and he's fine!)
I couldn't even get Miss Addison to look at me either.  Do you think maybe they get tired of me taking their pictures?
Then of course he wanted to "drive."  And when I say drive, I mean honk the horn.
Thanks Big Daddy and Landry! I LOVE my lense and I love my boys!

A quick shout out to my Mom and Dad whose anniversary is tomorrow!!
33 years and counting!
I love you both and am so grateful in all that you do and the love and devotion you've shown to us throughout the years!
Thanks for all you do for me and my family, I love you and am so blessed to have you in my life.

Hope ya'll have a good day!

First Date and a Toybox!

I know this video doesn't really go in order with the pictures, but you seriously have to watch it! It's only 9 seconds long and I promise you will get a laugh! (some people couldn't get vimeo videos to work last time, but I do not have the patience to deal with youtube! So i'm sorry if you can't see it!)

Is that not the funniest thing you've ever seen? I know, I will definetely win mom of the year for that one!!
Don't worry, he's not scarred for life or anything and about 10 seconds after the video ends, he was back to running around!

Anywho... now that you've got your laugh for the day...

Landry and Ella had to miss Valentine's day due to being sick, so they (we)  had to postpone it.  It was gorgeous on Saturday so they (we) had made plans to celebrate then.

This was on Friday, Landry was having to polish and shine his car.
hmmm, dad do you think that looks okay?
Oh, I better do the wheels too!
This is Saturday morning when he got to Ella's house.  I think he was really excited!!
Daddy had to help him just a little bit
Finally making it to the door to greet his love!
He handed her the rose (it's a fake) and she immediately hits herself in the face with it!
oh Miss Ella, those are beautiful socks!
I LOVE this one!
isn't this sweet? She's trying to get his attention!
Kisses for his honey!!
So then we all made it inside so he could give her her teddy bear!
She looked so adorable!
I think they both had fun on their first "date"!! I think Landry might have been a little overwhelmed with all the people giggling and talking and everything at the same time though! Even mom and Nancy (Ella's Nana) got to come!
Here's the video of it! It's long, but the beginning is cute of him pulling up and stuff!

When Landry got home from his date he took a nap and when he woke up, it was workin' time!  Him and Chris worked for about 3 hours in the backyard building Landry a toybox.
Here's the finished product! *Well, before it's sanded and stained!*
He had to get his nail gun out like daddy! He was such a big helper!
Saturday evening he still didn't want to come in, so we dressed him a little warmer and let him play some more!
This was as he saw an airplane!
With hat on
eesh! hat off!
Saturday night, Em, Aaron, Kaden and Ella came over and eat and to play!
He thinks it fun to take Ella's pacifier!
And I had to take this picture because I'm going to show it to him when he's 18!!

Hope ya enjoyed the picture overload!

We had a wonderful weekend!!  Hope y'all did too!
