Celebrate Good Times

Let's start out by giving my hubby a shout out... for getting me the best birthday/anniversary/Christmas present...EVER!
I got a new camera! A dslr one on top of that! I am in love with it!
Let's just say that in the past 3 days I've taken like 500 pictures!
xxx
Of course, this little man was my first target!
Then on Saturday, my best friend Savanna and me got pedicures! Aren't they so cute!
My sis-in-law babysat while we went and had a little girl time together
and then they came over to me to practice on!

This is Keevan, isn't he precious!
And Kaleb
Oh, and my very own heartbreaker!
My parents are getting a new house and the lady who owns the house they are buying used to be my dad's teacher! (He was her favorite student!!) So, we got to go swimming this weekend in their new pool!
Terry enjoying the slide
Keevan
Kaleb
Landry at Grammy and Grampy's Saturday nite
Chris was off work on Sunday, so he got to join us to go swimming!
Landry had tons of fun with his daddy!
So handsome my boys are!
Face plant
Keevan and Klassy
And the vampires other fang popped through finally. He's been fussy lately with so many teeth trying to come through. Ignore what looks like a tooth on the right, the white thing beside his first fang. It's not a tooth, I promise.
My super cute cake.
Me and the hubby, excuse my scariness
And what good is a new camera, then to take pictures of flowers (I have TONS)
My mom has the most gorgeous flowers in her yard
After...and by the way, it was NOT good. I think it had to do with the excessive amounts of dye involved.
Landry giving Keevan some love
After burgers and cake the boys swam at our house. Or I guess I should say, "horsed around" at our house.

Chris flipping Kaleb
Keevan's backflip
Backflip again

Chicken fight. It got ugly.
The little mister got to join in for awhile too!

The only flowers in my yard this year are these 'flamingo pink' roses from my mom. At least I haven't killed them yet!
And here's the monkey as we were trying to get him in bed last nite. By the way, it didn't work. The past two nites he has fallen asleep at 10:15. And that's after going to bed at 8:40-9:00. Eesh. The kids wears me out.
He's cute though. He does have that going for him!

We had such a great weekend and did not want to get back into the groove of the work week. Blah. Oh well, gotta make a livin' somehow!

Hope you have a fabulous week!

I wanna be just like you dad...

The lister mister went to his 9 month check up today and of course to get a shot. But, never fear, he was a trooper.
Chris got to go with us, so of course they had some lovin' time

And play time, obviously

Can you feel the excitement?

Here's his stats...
height : 30 1/2 inches
weight: 21.12 lbs.
xxx
He's average height for a 14 month old *95 percentile*
and average weight for a 12 month old *75 percentile*
xxx
His doctor said he's growing just like his daddy! Which of course we're happy for!
She also said we had a vampire on our hands... he still only has one bottom tooth and one "fang" tooth on top. It's weird.
She said that's what he should be for Halloween.
xxx
Maybe it's a sign... I did LOVE Twilight!

Bumps & Bruises

Let's just say we had a busy weekend!
xxx
My brother and sis-in-law got a new dog and cat, so while I was playing with the new additions, Landry decided to clean out my purse. All of it!
What mom?

Then Saturday, all good things went downhill. Landry and me were in the basement so I could print off new pictures. So he stands up and holds onto the computer cabinet and then proceeds to fall. I knew he hit something and of course he starts screaming. So we run upstairs to find Chris and I'm saying "I know he hit his head, but I can't find where." Then he turns his head and he has a huge purple line down the side of his cheek. I'm just glad it wasn't his head. Sorry the pics are so bad (once again, I'm not a fan of my camera anymore).
You can kinda see it on his left cheek

Then, he's playing in the living room the same afternoon. We have a long mirror that he likes to look in and play with, and we had it laying on top of the coffee table. Once again, he stands up, turns to face his daddy, turns back around, falls, and scraps his nose on the edge of the mirror. This one involved blood though.

This battle wound is on the right side of his nose.
Everyone has told me that once they learn to stand and then walk that they'll have all sorts of bumps and bruises, but jeez. Poor kid.
xxx
My nephews stayed the nite with me last nite while Chris was at work. Keevan wanted to sleep on Landry's couch and Kaleb wanted to sleep in Landry's ball pit.

My parents are out of town, so I have all 3 dogs.
Let's just say that I had a full bed last nite.
1 adult, 2 kids, 3 dogs.
What a wonderful life!

What a Silly Boy

I put the pictures in the reverse order. Oops.
----
Anywho, the little mister has been a busy little fella lately. He's growing teeth. Everything I've read said that first they get their bottom two teeth. Then they grow in their top two teeth. So far, Landry has his bottom left front tooth and his top left incisor (next to his front tooth). I wish I could get a picture, between his naturally grown mohawk and his snaggle tooth smile, he sure is a sight to see!
---
Last nite after his dinner he ate cheerios and cut up bananna. Let's just say, he was FILTHY. He had slime up to his elbows, in the crooks of his knees, in his eyebrows and his ears. We aren't real for sure how much actually made it to his mouth, but he seem to really enjoy it regardless!

Here's my friend Sav with Landry. He used her as a jungle gym the entire time she was over. Not to mention she received several "kisses." (I'm sure her husband is jealous)

These are from Monday at my parents house. Landry LOVES playing with his cousins. They entertain him to no end. So while they horse around the yard Landry sits in his bouncer on the deck and observes (and takes notes, I think).
I think Jeff Foxworth would say something like this...
You might be a redneck if you put a lawn chair on a tricycle and call it your ride.
Then they ride together and pull a sleigh.... who knows.
And of course I had to put Landry's pic up too!

These were supposed to be his 8 month pictures. As you can see, he obviously didn't cooperate.
And you can see what he thought of my sign.
And he's spent....

I can't believe in less than a week, he'll be 9 months old!
So, I need to be getting him a Halloween costume. I was thinking a monkey. http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=535880&cmSource=Search
I found one at One Step Ahead that I like. Any other ideas?
